<p class="MsoNormal">The University of Lethbridge, Faculty of Fine Arts, and Department of Drama invites applications for a tenure-track
<span style="color:black">appointment for a Costume Design and Construction specialist at the</span> rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2018. This position is subject to the approval of the University of Lethbridge Board of Governors.<span style="color:#C0504D"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Candidates must possess a terminal degree along with a demonstrated record of excellent research/creative activity in the area of<span style="color:black"> theatrical costume design. Proficiency in at least one other area of theatrical
design is also required.</span> <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The successful candidate will teach courses in costume design and construction, stage makeup, theatrical production, and other topics in her or his area of expertise. Teaching duties in other areas of the Department of Drama may be assigned.
Participation in the MFA graduate program is required. The ideal candidate will display teaching excellence, evidenced by post-secondary teaching experience and a commitment to innovative educational practices.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research and/or creative activity profile; further, she or he will have an interest and willingness to design for Department of Drama productions as a means of enhancing this profile.<o:p></o:p></p>
