<p style="margin:0px 0px 13.5px; font-weight:300; width:728.688px"><span style="">The College Governing Body proposes to elect a Visiting Fellow for all or part of the academic year 2018-19 (7th October 2018 to 30th September 2019). The purpose of the Fellowship,
which is non-stipendiary, is to provide a congenial base for visiting scholars, either from abroad or from the UK, to conduct research in Oxford, to have access to Oxford libraries, and to use the College as a means of establishing contact with other scholars
in the College and the University. The College<span> </span></span><span style="">occupies a central position within easy walking distance of all University libraries and departments. Only applications from scholars whose interests lie within the range of
subjects offered at Mansfield will be considered, i.e.<span> </span></span><span style=""><span style="">Economics, Engineering, English, Geography, History, Human Sciences, Jurisprudence, Mathematics, Materials, Oriental Studies, Philosophy, Physics, Politics,
and Theology.</span></span></p>
<p style="margin:0px 0px 13.5px; font-weight:300; width:728.688px"><span style="">Visiting Fellows will be full members of the Senior Common Room. The Fellowship covers the Common Room subscription and entitlement to free lunches and dinners. The College is
unable to provide study space or residential accommodation.</span></p>
<p style="margin:0px 0px 13.5px; font-weight:300; width:728.688px"><strong style="font-weight:bold"><span style="">Please note that the Fellowship is not suitable for DPhil/PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, or academics holding a post in Oxford.</span></strong></p>
