or Professor and the successful candidate will be associated with a department in the Faculty of Arts. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span style="font-size:8.5pt">CIRM is a research centre whose mission is to stimulate and unite interdisciplinary research on Montreal and to promote research initiatives across cultural, governmental, social, community, and economic domains. The candidate
selected at the end of the process must have demonstrated his or her interest in working in this dual, interdisciplinary and intersectorial, perspective. CIRM is particularly interested in candidates who have worked at the intersection of qualitative and quantitative
research. Candidates whose research focus on cities other than Montreal are welcome to apply but will have to demonstrate, through the program of research they submit to the selection committee, that they intend to give Montreal a central role in their future
