<p><span style="color:black">Candidates should have competence to teach playwriting at both the introductory and advanced undergraduate level, as well as screenwriting. The ability to write for other performative or broadcast forms is an asset.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="color:black">Candidates should have a recent publication and/or performance/broadcasting record in these fields. An MA or MFA, and experience teaching university-level Creative Writing courses are preferred.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style="color:black">These positions are subject to budgetary approval and department needs. Pending continued funding and need, as well as satisfactory job performance, individuals holding limited-term appointments may be reappointed. Limited term
appointments may not exceed 36 months. They are normally held at the rank of Assistant Professor, and initial contracts begin on August 1, 2019 and end on May 14, 2020. Those appointed will normally be expected to teach three courses per semester.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
