<p>A couple of suggestions:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p><em>Graceful Rebellions </em>by Shaista Latif (lots of great monologue material for young afghani girls/women). It's published an anthology I edited called <em>Queer/Play. </em><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><em>China Doll</em> by Marjorie Chan (it's largely a monologue by a Chinese girl facing the threat of foot-binding). Not sure if it's published.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p><em>Bug </em>by Yolanda Bonnell (Indigenous young woman character - physical and poetic and amazing). I don't think it's published just yet but it's being remounted at Passe Muraille this year and it's brilliant so I bet it will be published soon.<o:p></o:p></p>
