that the <b>early bird booking rate</b> for our symposium,
<b>The S Word: Stanislavsky's Last Words</b>, at DAMU in
Prague (11th to 13th November), ends on 19th September.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">The symposium
offers the opportunity to hear a selection of more than 20
papers and take part in seven workshops; hear keynote
addresses by Prof Maria Shevtsova (Goldsmiths University of
London) and Prof Sharon Marie Carnicke (University of
Southern California); attend a guest workshop by Prof Bella
Merlin (University of California Riverside) and The 2022
Jean Benedetti Memorial Lecture, given by Prof Rhonda Blair
(Southern Methodist University) - the symposium will also
celebrate the launch of <i>The Meyerhold Companion</i>,
with Prof Jonathan Pitches (University of Leeds) and Dr
Stefan Aquilina (University of Malta), and present a special
panel of papers given by Ukrainian colleagues.</font></p>
