peer-reviewed journal of the International Association of Theatre Critics (IATC). We are fully committed to the Open Access Initiative. In January 2023, the winter Issue no 26 (2022) of Critical Stages/Scènes Critiques was published. It consists of 58 contributions
signed by 75 authors from 27 countries. For the first time in the history of the journal, it published two original dramatic texts: the first play,

of dramaturgy, interdisciplinarity, transcultural approaches and digitalization of communication in theatre and cultural performance, among other issues. The aim of the ESSAYS section is to offer a broader practical, aesthetic, historical and theoretical outlet
to those interested in recent developments in theatre and performance across national and disciplinary boundaries.<br>
