          <p><span

              the first gathering of the Art Theatre’s group of actors
              for the rehearsals of <i>The Seagull </i>in Pushkino
              until his work in the last Opera-Dramatic Studio,
              Stanislavsky aimed to train his actresses and actors and
              provide them with the tools to develop their skills and
              their art. He was the first director-pedagogue,
              incorporating in his directing an educational approach and
              paving the way for future generations of directors, who
              put actresses and actors at the centre of their work.<span
                style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span></span></p>
          <p><span
style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-hansi-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-latin">This
              Symposium will focus on Stanislavsky’s ability to be a
              productive director, providing successful productions for
              a demanding repertoire, and, simultaneously, a gifted
              trainer and charismatic pedagogue of actresses and actors,
              within the rehearsal room, the Art Theatre’s drama school
              and the studios. It will aim to discover Stanislavsky’s
              pedagogic legacy in contemporary directing and his
              influence in the field of theatre.</span></p>

              style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%;mso-bidi-font-family:
              Calibri;mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-latin">The symposium
              will consist of papers, practical workshops, panel
              presentations and discussions.</span></p>

              proposals for the following:</span></p>

              minutes)</span></p>

              demonstrations (40 minutes)</span></p>

              minimum of three speakers (60 minutes)</span></p>

              more than 300 words should be accompanied by a brief
