It’s called Wear Plaid for Dad. Hopefully, you received the press release that I sent out to all group leaders last week. Many workplaces and teams are opting in to join us.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>We invite you and your support group members to opt in with other Canadians, workplaces, groups, ant teams.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><o:p> </o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b>Every PCCN group who registers as a team to raise funds <span style='background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow'>is entitled to apply for funding from our mission program</span>. This is the same funding that groups can apply for when you put together a team and raise monies for the Father’s Day Walk Run. Every group who registers and raises monies may apply for 50% of what you raise , to be used for your own group.<o:p></o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><o:p> </o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal>We are asking Canadians to make a suggested donation of $8 that represents the 1 in 8 Canadian men who will face a prostate cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. One half of every donation from your team will go to support your group.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If your PCCN group is interested please register on the link below as a workplace campaign with your PCCN groups name. You do have to register to be able to apply for the funds at the end of the campaign.
