 your and the student's request, but know that this is sometimes not possible if there is already a waiting list for your course, if there is not enough available space in the room where your course will be taught, if the student is already enrolled in the
 maximum number of courses they can take in a term, if there are ongoing academic issues with the specific student, etc. Your area's undergraduate advisor will let you and the student know of the outcome as soon as they can, and send the student the permission
 code to enroll in your course if the request is granted.</div>
