Students need only to point their web browser to https://client.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html and it will open a page with our Azure/Entra virtual machines.
There are instructions here https://client.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html but they aren’t complete (I’ll work on those today).
Students need to double click this icon:
Follow the commands to login from this section “(AVD) Connecting to AVD Full Desktop”
That will log students into a virtual machine that has Antidote installed.

Subject: RE: Antidote question
Hi Scott,
Unfortunately, I don’t know what Entra/Azure means! Where would students find instructions for accessing Antidote now? Is there a page somewhere that explains what they have access to or how to find it?
The workstation in our lounge is great, but they are asking if it is still possible to access it remotely, as it was during the pandemic.
Thanks,
Tara

Antidote is indeed installed on the virtual machines in Entra/Azure. There is no need for the VPN when connecting to those systems.
There is 1 computer in your lounge/grad office (?) that I set up over the last year that also has Antidote installed.
Antidote 11 - Bilingual
Number of workstations
20 workstations
Antidote 11 - French
Number of workstations
8 workstations
The Bilingual station licenses are used in Azure/Entra.

Subject: Re: Antidote question
Hello Tara,
I’ve added my team in the CC field, may be they can help find the information.
I believe Antidote is in our Azure Virtual desktops (thus shouldn’t need VPN) and on some specific UW employ computers/laptops.
And if you desire more licenses, we can look into that, if you had a number of additional licenses.
Finally, is there still a small drop “computer room” students use? Maybe we can ensure Antidote is on the desktop(s) in that room.
Sincerely, Bill

Subject: Antidote question
Hi Bill,
I’ve had a couple of students ask me about access to Antidote. They’d like to know if they can access from home using the VPN.
One mentioned that the page on the ACO website for “Software” doesn’t seem to have any info or instructions for Antidote.
I’m wondering if you can point me in the right direction for instructions for students looking to access Antidote, and then I can forward it or post on our website.
Thanks,
Tara
