Solution:

To optimize the use of our existing resources, I recommend utilizing the five spare Lenovo 65W USB-C chargers currently in our inventory. These chargers are compatible with all our Surface Pro devices and MacBooks (at lower cost than MagSafe or Surface connector equivalents), and the Dell, Surface and Lenovo mini-hubs provide pass thru charging (reference: https://calms.uwaterloo.ca/assets/id/16712/edit/acono/230733).

Additionally, I believe we have several more Lenovo 65W USB-C chargers available from the returned HH 280 Lenovo mini-hubs.

It appears we are missing MS Surface chargers and are in need of replacements.

If you have a new MS Surface in your office that is in need of a power supply/or one is missing for that unit, please let me know by the end of this week – Fri 27 Sep 2024 by 4:00 PM.
