Subject: Erie Shores Wind Farm Tour
Hello,
I'm writing to let you know of a great opportunity for students who
are interested in sustainable technologies. STEP (Sustainable
Technology Education Project) is hosting a tour of the Erie Shores
Wind Farm, near Port Burwell, on Thursday, October 9. The tour is free
(lunch is not included). There will be a bus leaving the Davis Centre
at 9 am, and it will return around 3 pm.
This is an amazing opportunity to learn about the technical, economic
and social aspects of building a wind farm! Email
vemanica at fes.uwaterloo.ca to reserve your spot on the bus.
Thanks,
Valerie Manica, STEP volunteer
