[Anthsoc] Last chance for sweat jackets; Tobogganing; East Side Mario's Dinner

Hey everyone,

Hope your term is going well so far, and that midterms aren't too
stressful! AnthSoc has a few announcements that we would like to share
with you all.

First of all, Psychology Society is co-hosting a Tobogganing event
this Thursday with AnthSoc, English Society, and Classics-Medieval
Studies Society. We'll be meeting in front of the Turnkey Desk at
5:30, and then proceed to CIF hill to toboggan until 7pm. After that
we will head to PAS 2086 for some hot chocolate! If you don't have a
toboggan, no worries- apparently you can get one really cheap at
Zeller's, or you can always try to arrange something with PsychSoc by
contacting them at uw.psychsoc at gmail.com. This event is a good way to
relax, have fun, and meet more people in the Arts Faculty.

Second of all, both AnthSoc and Classics-Medieval Studies Society are
co-hosting an informal dinner event on Wednesday, March 9th. The
dinner will take place at East Side Mario's (in University Shops
Plaza) at 7pm, and appetizers will be provided. Students are free to
order their own entrees and drinks. This is a good chance to mingle
with your fellow Anthropology classmates and meet people from other
departments. ALL students interested in attending must RSVP by
emailing us at uwanthsoc at gmail.com, or confirming attendance on our
Facebook event page. Friends are welcome, but also must RSVP.

Lastly, just a reminder that THIS WEEK is your last chance to order
Anthropology Sweat Jackets. All order confirmations by students must
be in by Wednesday night, and all payments in full must be received by
Friday night.  You have a choice of ordering either American Apparel
brand or Gildan (generic) brand sweat jackets. American Apparel are of
higher quality, are sweat-shop free, and cost $35. Gildan is of lower
quality, but costs less at $21. All sizes are unisex and range from S
to XXL. When you place your order, please email us at
uwanthsoc at gmail.com with your size and brand request, along with your
available times to meet one of our AnthSoc exec members to give your
payment. Payments in exact change will be preferred.
