[Anthsoc] AnthSoc Invitation to Waterloo Region Museum Grand Opening - Saturday November 12

Greetings all,

In case anyone didn't catch this on the AnthSoc Facebook page, you are
all invited to join us at the Grand Opening of the brand new Waterloo
Region Museum on Saturday. Admission is *FREE*.

The doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the opening ceremony is planned for
10:00 a.m. "Family fun and activities" are on offer from 11:00 until
3:30 p.m.

To make this an "official" AnthSoc activity, Dr. Liston and I will be
leading members on a personally guided tour of the facility (including
Doon Heritage Village) under the rubric of "A Heritage Consultant's
Perspective on Presenting the Past", a.k.a.  "Lost in Time and Space
with Professor MacDonald." We plan to meet up immediately after the
opening ceremony.

If anyone needs a drive to the museum, or if you have any questions,
