[Anthsoc] Fwd: Faculty Candidate meeting with Undergrads & Research Lecture

Dear ANTH Undergrads,


Our third Faculty candidate, Dr. Barbara Andersen, will be arriving next
week. As with our other Faculty interviews, there will be a meeting with
the Undergrads and the candidate. This meeting will take place:


*Monday, November 17th, 4:00-4:30 pm in PAS 2030*


 We hope that many of you will be there to meet the candidate, ask
questions, and support our department. The successful candidate may be one
of your professors this Winter, so please take this opportunity to meet
with the candidate as your feedback will be taken into consideration in the
hiring process.


Dr. Andersen will also be presenting a Research Lecture (just prior to your
meeting) to which you are all invited:

The title of her lecture is: “In the Place of Other People: Nursing and
Relational Indigeneity in Papua New Guinea.”
