Good Afternoon Everyone!

This is a reminder that our first faculty candidate, Dr. Elise Berman, will
be giving a lecture about her personal research tomorrow morning, *Wednesday,
October 29th 8:30-10:00 A.M. (PAS 2030). *The title of her lecture is: "The
Road to Liklob: Avoiding Giving in the Marshall Islands".

We hope that many of you will be there to support our department. Your
feedback concerning our candidates is very valuable to the department as
the successful candidate will likely be one of your professors as of this
Winter term. This is especially a great opportunity for those of you
considering pursuing a career in Anthropology as you will see what Faculty
job interviews entail.

See you tomorrow!
Stacy

Dear ANTH Undergrads,

Next week, we will be hosting the first Faculty candidate for the position
of Socio-Cultural Anthropologist in the department. Our department feels
strongly about letting our students meet the candidates and to give the
department their feedback as one of the candidates will soon be one of your
professors. Please consider attending the following upcoming engagements to
meet with our first candidate, Dr. Elise Berman, and to show support for
the department:

Meeting with Undergrads and Candidate: *Tuesday, October 28th
10:30-11:00 (PAS 2030)*

Candidate Research Lecture: *Wednesday, October 29th
8:30-10:00 A.M. (PAS 2030)*

Dr. Berman’s Research Lecture is entitled: "The Road to Liklob: Avoiding
Giving in the Marshall Islands".

Throughout the month of November, we will be hosting three more candidates.
Information about meeting times and Research Lectures for these candidates
will be released shortly before their arrival dates.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to talk to me, Dr.

We hope to see many of you at these engagements!

Stacy
