Hello Everyone,

The Departments of Anthropology and Classical Studies have once again
partnered to offer our much anticipated Spring course, ANTH 395
“Anthropological Study Abroad”. The topic of this course is “Heroes and
Legends of the Bronze Age” where you will visit sites including Knossos,
Phaistos, Mycenae, Tiryns, Akrotiri, Athens, and a host of other selected
sites on Crete, the Greek islands and mainland Greece.

This is a great opportunity to visit Greece, experience the culture, and
study the ancient past while seeing the ancient ruins first-hand. The
networks, and friendships that you will make on this trip will be
invaluable, as well as the lasting memories you will make on this trip.

Don’t miss out on this great course—it isn't offered every year!

See the attached poster for further details. If you have any questions
about the course, or if you would like to reserve now, please contact Dr.
Liston (mliston at uwaterloo.ca). Reserve early because this course fills up
fast!

I truly hope that many of you will sign up for this course—you’ll be happy
you did for years to come!

-Stacy
