  *Call for Papers** Canada 3.0: Defining Canada's Digital Future*

Canada is at a crucial juncture in the digital economy. The country must
decide how it is going to position itself in the emerging global digital
economy. While Canada has areas of digital international leadership, the
rapidly changing and intensely competitive environment stands still for
no company, region or country. There is an urgent need for Canada to
create, define and implement a national digital strategy. The Canada 3.0
conference represents the critical launch of that national effort.

On November 24 and 25, 2008, over 250 digital media leaders will gather
in Stratford, Ontario to define Canada's digital future. Participants
will be drawn from government, private sector organizations,
universities and colleges, as well as commentators and analysts. Each
will be invited to share their expertise and participate in frank
discussions for the good of our country's future. The results will be an
aggressive, nation-wide initiative designed to elevate the country into
a significant and highly competitive player in the digital media space.

The conference will consist of plenary sessions, specialist sessions and
workshops. All presentations will be published in the proceedings and/or
the conference website.

Conference tracks include:

    * Digital Landscapes: Knowing the International Competition
    * Defining Canadian Digital Advantages
    * Identifying Canada's Digital Barriers
    * Content and Service Delivery: The New Digital Frontier
    * The Canadian Creative Triangle: Convergence in Technology,
