UW Alumni Art Sale

Dear Colleagues

The Department of Fine Arts is hosting a UW Alumni and Faculty Arts   
Art Exhibition and Silent Auction during Homecoming, Sept. 2008.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get great art from both emerging  
and established artists at very affordable prices.

The art work will be on display in the ML Gallery and available for  
viewing and bidding on Thursday, Sept. 25th
through Friday, from 11:30am  5:30pm and Saturday 11:30-5:00.

On Homecoming Saturday Sept. 27th, there will be a reception  from   
3:30 -5 pm during which the final bidding will take place.

All funds raised will go towards the fine arts endowment fund.  The  
monies
from this fund will be used to add to the learning environment within  
the Fine Arts department including
enhancements to teaching and facilities.

You can see examples of some of the artists and art  that will be in

I hope that you will be able to drop by and check out the work and  
find something that you just have to have. Please encourage friends to  
come too.  The reception will be fun, but you don't need to be there  
at the end to put in a bid. Just like e-bay, put in your maximum  
amount and hope that you are
the lucky winner at the end.
