Lecture on Berlin-Kreuzberg 1982 and Today - Now with time and place!

The Waterloo Centre for German Studies and the Department of Germanic and
Slavic Studies announces the following lecture:

 

Berlin©\Kreuzberg: 1982 and Today

Martin D¨¹spohl, Director, Berlin-Kreuzberg Museum

 

In 1982 the photographer Peter Frischmuth documented the Kreuzberg
neighbourhood of Berlin, when the Berlin Wall was right on its doorstep; in
2006, Frischmuth returned to Kreuzberg and retraced his steps. D¨¹spohl
gives us an illustrated introduction to this remarkable photographic
document.
