Community Service Learning Gathering

Greetings,

CSL at UW (Community Service Learning at the University of Waterloo) is a
University of Waterloo funded research group exploring community-engaged
learning on campus.

As part of our project, we are launching Community-Engaged Learning at the
University of Waterloo (CEL at UW). CEL at UW will host a series of discussions
wherein participants will be invited to learn and share ideas, tools and
resources about university-community collaborations and engaged and service
oriented learning, research and teaching practices.

Please join us for our first discussion in this series (see attachment for
full invitation). Cheryl Rose, Director of Partnerships & Projects for
Social Innovation Generation at the University of Waterloo
(SiG at Waterloo) and founding Executive Director of the Canadian Alliance for
Community Service-Learning, will be giving a presentation on Community
Service Learning in Canada and here at the University of Waterloo. Following
her talk, there will be time for questions and discussion.
