UW Drama invites you to...
The 10th Annual Silversides Theatre Artists Event

Theatre of the Arts
Modern Languages Building
After a conversation between Antoni Cimolino and Jennifer Roberts-Smith
(Drama), the floor will be opened for general discussion.
Everyone is welcome to attend; no admission will be charged.
Antoni Cimolino began his career as an actor playing principal roles in
Shakespeare's plays at the Stratford Festival and across Canada. As a
director, he has collaborated with such actors as Colm Feore, Martha Henry,
Brian Bedford, and William Hutt in productions of Coriolanus, Love's Labours
Lost, Twelfth Night, and others. He was the recipient of two Best Director
Awards for his 1998 production of Twelfth Night. As General Director of the
Stratford Shakespeare Festival, he oversees the entire operation of the
Festival's annual season of up to 16 plays, over 1000 employees, and its $60
million operating budget. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Ontario
Tourism Marketing Partnership Board, and as Vice-President External and
Chair of the Advocacy Committee for the Professional Association of Canadian
Theatres. He still finds time to direct - this season, his production of
Bartholomew Fair has been a critical and popular success.
For a conversation with Antoni Cimolino about art, business, Shakespeare,
and Bartholomew Fair, please join us on Thursday, October 15 in the Theatre
of the Arts.
