Hi,

The Climate Action Project (a WPIRG student action group) is organizing a rally for the International Day of Climate Change declared by the 350 campaign. The 350 campaign is attempting to co-ordinate global action to pressure national governments to set ambitious and achievable goals to combat climate change; this particular event is intended to emphasise the importance of the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (December 7 - 18).

If you could forward the information for this event (see below) to your mailing list, we would much appreciate it. We are also looking for volunteers to help with site set-up and tear-down, directing people during the march, and possibly also with running the tech for the musical performances. Anyone interested in volunteering can select the roles they'd be willing to fill at http://www.doodle.com/in8yns8aqp48asey . Please come at 12:00 to help with setup and receive instructions.

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at athenes1 at hotmail.com.

Thanks,

Claire Pella
