Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: Is it All in Your Head?

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a problem that is often difficult to
understand, perplexing to both sufferers and the people who care about them.

Join us Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the James J. Brown
Auditorium at the Waterloo Public Library (located at 35 Albert St.
Waterloo). Christine Purdon, Associate Professor, Department of Psychology
and Director, UW Centre for Mental Health Research will discuss how OCD
develops, why it persists (as far as we are able to understand), treatment
and self-help resources.

This talk is intended for anyone interested in OCD or for people who have
OCD and their friends and family members.
