Talk: Ray Siemens on Digital Humanities

The English Department is pleased to announce a talk by Ray Siemens,  
Canada Research Chair at the University of Victoria:

"Toward a Future of the History of the Book"
Thursday, Sept 24th at 5pm
HH 232

In the past ten years, Ray has edited four collections on and a guide  
to digital humanities: A New Computer-Assisted Literary Criticism  
(2002); Scholarly Discourse and Computing Technology II (2001);  
Renaissance and Literary Studies and Humanities Computing (1999);  
Mind Technologies (2005); and the Blackwell Companion to Digital  
Humanities (2004). He has continued to publish articles on digital  
humanities and Renaissance poetry, and has also edited a collection  
of essays on Renaissance literature, Wrestling with God: Literature  
and Theology in the English Renaissance (2001).
