AID TO VICTIMS OF HAITIAN EARTHQUAKE

Dear students, staff and faculty,

Professors and staff members in the Department of French Studies call on
your generosity to donate funds in support of relief efforts following the
devastating earthquake that destroyed Port-au-Prince and other communities
in Haiti. Because Francophone cultures and literatures are so much a part
of what we do in our department, I feel that we all have a particular
responsibility in contributing even in a small way to the Canadian
response to the disaster. The funds collected will be given to Médecins
