International Day of Peace Celebration Event

The Peace and Conflict Studies Program invites you to an evening
presentation to celebrate the International Day of Peace

"When Justice Doesn't Bring Peace: Restoring Relationships in the Aftermath
of Crime," is the theme of Shannon Moroney <http://www.shannonmoroney.com/>
's presentation.

 

The event will be held in the Conrad Grebel University College Chapel

Shannon shares a raw and honest account of the impact her husband's crimes
had on her professional and community status, as well as on her
relationships with others and herself. Using her artwork as a backdrop, she
tells of a remarkable journey toward acceptance and peace, leaving the
audience with a lot to consider about the meaning of justice.
