Philosophy special topics course examines recent political protest movements

Dear colleagues,

The newest addition to the Department of Philosophy, Dr. Christopher Lowry,
will this fall offer a special topics course (PHIL 271) examining recent
political protest movements (the Quebec student protests, the Occupy
movement, the G20 protests, the Arab Spring, etc.) and attending to their
philosophical aspects. No previous Philosophy courses required. I'm
attaching a flyer for the course. Please share it with any interested
students or colleagues.
