Headley Essay Award Competition is open

Hello,

This message may be of interest to third and fourth year students or to those taking a third or fourth year level course.  Please pass it along to anyone you think may be interested.

The Betty G. Headley Essay Award competition is now open.  As the entry form states, "this annual award honours essays, written by upper year undergraduate students,
 which are distinguished by their eloquence, originality and persuasive power".

$1,000 in prize money will be given to the writer of this year's winning essay.   The deadline for submissions is February 25, 2013, at 1:00 p.m.

The winner of this competition will be announced at the St. Jerome's University Gala on March 22.
