The University of Waterloo Department of Fine Arts is proud to welcome visitors to their second annual Open House and MFA Open Studios featuring work by first and second year graduate candidates Lisa Birke, Nicholas Breton, Megan Green, Natalie Hunter, Ian McMurrich, Jessica Massard, Amanda Rhodenizer and Srdjan Segan.

In collaboration with the University of Waterloo Art Gallery, UW Fine Arts is also proud to present an artist panel discussion in response to the NetherMind exhibition currently on display at the gallery. Moderated by Gordon Hatt, the panel will feature presentations by John Dickson, Mary Catherine Newcomb, Lyla Rye and Reinhard Reitzenstein. The panel will consider the importance of site, camaraderie and dark humour–key aspects that have united the collective throughout their eleven year history. The panel will be followed by a closing reception supported by the City of Waterloo.
This event is free and open to the public.
