Concerts Galore!

Hello everyone,
Here are 4 concerts which you will enjoy:

1.        orchestra at uwaterloo's Fall term concert "Brahms and the Lieutenant" is this Thursday November 28 at 8 PM in Humanities Theatre.  Tickets are free and can be ordered from the Humanities Theatre Box Office in Hagey Hall, (519) 888-4908.

Players from the Arts Faculty include Alex Miles, Sarah Dabu, Easton Page, Heather Whiteside, Sachi Dow, Melissa Pettau, Vanessa Miller, Kevin Chuang, Eunsol (Esther) Ahn, Hai Chuan Xu, Maria Kouznetsova, and Miranda Marks.  For more info see http://www.orchestra.uwaterloo.ca/concerts



2.       A Celebration in Song:   Saturday, November  30 at 8pm, St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Kitchener

The University Choir, Chamber Choir, and Chapel Choir from Conrad Grebel will all be performing in honour of Grebel's 50th Anniversary.  The concert includes the specially commissioned World Premiere of a new setting of Psalm 150 by Timothy Corlis, a graduate of Conrad Grebel.  Admission is $10, students/seniors $5.

3.       "Round Midnight" Stage Band Concert - Sunday, December 1 at 2pm.   Jazz music to delight the soul!

The concert will take place in the Conrad Grebel University College Great Hall.  Admission is $10, students/seniors $5.  Reception to follow.  See uwaterloo.ca/music/events for details.



4.       Instrumental Chamber Ensemble Concert - Sunday, December 1 at 7:30 pm in the Conrad Grebel Chapel.  Lovely Chamber music performed by University of Waterloo students.  Free admission, reception to follow.  See uwaterloo.ca/music/events for details.
