Dear colleagues

All faculty and students are cordially invited to hear Bruce Robbins  
(English and Comparative Literature, Columbia University) talk on  
'Blue Water:  Colonialism in Deep Time' on Friday, February 14 at 2 pm  
in Hagey Hall 139.  Professor Robbins has published on a wide variety  
of topics:  19th century English literature, professionalism and  
intellectuals, ideas of cosmopolitanism, and human rights discourse,  
among others.  He's an excellent speaker whose work is relevant to  
many fields in the arts and humanities.
