Remediating Nature: Presenting the Natural World in 18th Century Children's Literature
Nikola von Merveldt researches children's literature and its historical context. Her studies focus on the history of the book as a material object and social medium that isn’t only the intellectual product of the author, but also the commercial, technological, and cultural product of an epoch. She’s an associate professor at the Université de Montréal.
