Next Wed.: Jennifer Saul (Sheffield) on the challenges of designing inclusive syllabi

Dear colleagues,
next week, as part of her visit to Waterloo Philosophy as the Rudrick
Professor, Professor Jennifer Saul (Sheffield) will be giving a teaching
and learning talk, "The pragmatics of inclusivity." In the talk, Professor
Saul will discuss tricky pragmatic issues about communicating the
demographics of one's syllabus.
The talk will be held Wed., Oct. 28 2:30-4 in HH 373. Refreshments will be
served.
Professor Saul is an internationally renowned philosopher of language, and
champion of equity in academe. Please consider joining us for the talk, and
