Bio: Bilal Kuspinar is the Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts and Director of the International Rumi Center for the Study of Civilizations and Chair of the Department of  Philosophy, Necmettin Erbakan University, Konya, Turkey. His areas of specialization include: Theories of Knowledge, Philosophy of Illumination, Political Philosophy, Islamic Philosophy & Mysticism, and Islamic Civilization. He has previously taught at Concordia University,  Mc Gill University, and the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization, Malaysia. He is the author of numerous books and articles including The Lamp of Mysteries and Avicenna's Theory of Knowledge.
