A Red Girl’s Reasoning and Bihttoš: An afternoon with filmmaker Elle-Maija Tailfeathers

We are excited to announce that award winning filmmaker Elle-Máijá<http://elle-maija-tailfeathers.com> Tailfeathers<http://elle-maija-tailfeathers.com> will be visiting the University of Waterloo on March 10. Máijá will screen a selection of her recent films—including the critically acclaimed A Red Girl’s Reasoning and Bihttoš—that examine Indigenous identity, family relationships, political activism, and social justice issues.

Her films have been screened at festivals around the world and she was included on CBC's list of Indigenous Youth Leaders: 5 under 30 to watch in 2015<http://www.cbc.ca/news/aboriginal/young-indigenous-leaders-5-under-30-to-watch-in-2015-1.2929805>. Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers is a Blackfoot and Sami filmmaker from the Kainai First Nation.
