Greetings,
Do you want to help save the climate through games? Do you want to be a part of an Ontario-wide initiative to reduce carbon footprints?
Join the director of Laurier University's Game Design and Development program (Dr. Scott Nicholson) for a talk on Wednesday, March 8th in the Davis Centre (1304). He will discuss the upcoming Climate Change Game Jam happening from March 18th to 19th, as well as opportunities to get involved with the Brantford Games Network lab. The Jam will bring together students from across Ontario to come up with concepts for games that encourage players to reduce their carbon footprint. The BGN lab will also be seeking 10 undergrad and 2 graduate level students to work in Brantford part-time over the summer to develop two games inspired by the Jam ideas. Interviews for these positions will be held at the Climate Change Game Jam.
More information about his talk can be found HERE<https://uwaterloo.ca/games-institute/events/dr-scott-nicholson-want-help-save-climate-through-games>. Already know you would like to be involved?
