WCGS International Opportunities Travel Grants

The Waterloo Centre for German Studies is once again offering travel grants to full-time graduate and undergraduate students who will be participating in a recognized institutional, Canadian-organized German language or cultural studies program abroad. (The program can be in Austria, Germany, or German-speaking Switzerland.) The travel grants are available to students in all disciplines. Deadline for applications is February 1.

Requirements

Students must have completed at least one Germanic & Slavic Studies course prior to the start of their exchange. They must also submit a one-page letter of intent and, where possible, confirmation of their participation in the exchange. (The confirmation can be submitted later if the student hasn't received it by the application deadline.)

Full details on the travel grants and application procedure can be found on our website<https://uwaterloo.ca/centre-for-german-studies/scholarships/fred-ruth-stork-awards-german-studies>.
