HISTORY PUBLIC LECTURE
Dr. Marco Rimanelli (Saint Leo University, Florida)
“Napoleon vs. America: Competing Geo-Strategic & Domestic Visions, 1800-1815”
Friday, September 22, Noon, Hagey Hall 150, University of Waterloo
Dr. Marco Rimanelli, a professor of History and Political Science at Saint Leo University in Florida, and author of numerous books on Diplomatic History and International Relations, will speak at the University of Waterloo on Friday, September 22, at noon, in Hagey Hall 150, on relations between Napoleon and leading American political figures of the early Nineteenth Century. Dr. Rimanelli, a former Fulbright scholar, is the author of such books as Strategic Challenges to U.S. Foreign Policy in the Post-Cold War and Italy between Europe & Mediterranean: Diplomacy & Naval Strategy from Unification to NATO, 1800s-2000.
