Hello everyone,
While the term "empire" has come to have strong political connotations, an archaic use of the word simply means to hold absolute power over something or someone. Few who listen to or participate in music could deny its empire! This term's concert will explore music's empire through various cultures, time periods, and styles including works by Palestrina, Bach, Esenvalds, and Uusberg, as well as arrangements by Guillaume, Hatfield, and Mister Tim.  Tickets available at the door.
