Dear colleagues,

"The Newtonian Shift is a facilitated role-playing simulation that allows players to experience decades of energy transition in one day. It features dynamic and fast-paced experiential learning that puts participants in a diverse set of roles: energy producer, private customer, large energy consumer, First Nations, suppliers, grid operator, investors, and government.”

This game has now been played hundreds of times around the world and showcases how role-playing can produce unique forms of insight, understanding and literacy — all while having incredible amounts of fun.
Learn more about the simulation at: http://energyfutureslab.com/the-newtonian-shift/ <http://energyfutureslab.com/the-newtonian-shift/>
There are two sessions of The Newtonian Shift happening on campus. Each session can have a maximum of 30 players.

If you’re interested in joining us to play the game, please sign up via Eventbrite below:

This is a completely unique experience. Please consider joining us and encourage your students to sign up, too! Students who had the chance to play this game last year described it as one of the highlights of their undergraduate experience at Waterloo!

I hope to see some of you there!
Imre
