The Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement at Conrad Grebel University College is pleased to be facilitating UWaterloo's participation in the global Map the System<http://www.oxfordglobalchallenge.com/> challenge. Organized by Oxford University's Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Map the System is a systems thinking competition that challenges students to deepen their understanding of complex social and environmental problems.

Undergraduate and graduate students from all faculties may be particularly interested in the challenge as it combines systems thinking with social innovation. Differing from a traditional pitch competition, students can use Map the System as an opportunity to explore a problem that they are passionate about (and win some prizes if successful)!

If you are seeking more information about Map the System in general, please contact Michelle Jackett<mailto:michelle.jackett at uwaterloo.ca>, Centre for Peace Advancement Coordinator, or visit our webpage at: https://uwaterloo.ca/centre-peace-advancement/student-engagement/map-system.

The CPA is on lands that are deeply connected to Indigenous peoples who have historically lived, and who currently live, in this territory. These groups include the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations, also known as the Haudensaunee people. This land includes six miles on each side of the Grand River.
