orchestra at uwaterloo this Thursday, 7:30pm

Hello everyone,

If you need a break from this dreary weather, please join us on Thursday for a lovely orchestra concert.  The orchestra at uwaterloo is a group of approximately 60 students, staff, faculty, and alumni from the University of Waterloo.  Directed by noted local conductor Daniel Warren, the orchestra will be playing the following pieces:
Vaughan Williams, Fantasie on the theme of Thomas Tallis
Mendelssohn, "Hebrides Overture"
Vaughan Williams, "The Lark Ascending"
Mendelssohn, Scottish Symphony

The violin soloist for Lark Ascending will be Lance Ouellette, the Interim Concertmaster for the KW Symphony!
