winter 2021 Arts Building hours

Dear People of Arts,

These are the new Arts building hours for the winter term (effective January 11th):

Building

Hours

ML

unlocked M& F 9:00 am-5:00 pm / W 10:00 am-5:00 pm

  *   Outside these hours, a key is needed for entry

AL

unlocked M-F 9 am - 5 pm

HH

unlocked M-F 8 am - 5:00 pm

PAS

unlocked Tuesdays 9 am - 5 pm

  *   Outside these hours, a key or an access fob is needed for entry

ECH

always locked. Keypad code needed for entry

DMS

always locked. For access, contact Annaka Willemsen


Each building has one approved door for entry, with the exception of PAS (2nd floor "bridge" and brown door at the loading dock NEW!) and ECH which has its main entrance at the MFA porch facing E7 and a secondary entrance facing Phillip street for access to rooms on the 2nd floor that cannot be accessed via the main entry.

Anyone wishing to visit campus must first contact their department for Chair approval and tracking. The following requirements must be observed:



  *   Wear a mask in indoor common spaces<https://uwaterloo.ca/coronavirus/news/face-coverings-are-required-common-indoor-spaces-campus-0>. If you can maintain a 2m social distance (i.e. in your office), you can take off your mask.  When in common spaces, or moving around the building, you are required to wear a mask.



  *   Each day before you come to campus, the University asks that you complete a COVID-19 self-assessment<https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/>.


  *   Record your visit using Campus Check-In<https://checkin.uwaterloo.ca/>. Upon arrival, enable eduroam, click the email acknowledgement and answer the screening questions.


  *   If you have not done so already, complete the Returning to Campus Safely During COVID-19 training<https://uwaterloo.ca/safety-office/training/returning-campus-safely-during-covid-19>.  This is a requirement for everyone coming to campus.
