With gratitude and respect, I live and work on traditional territories of β€Žthe Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Hodinohso:ni peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River from mouth to source. The university's actions toward conciliation are guided by the Office of Indigenous Relations<https://uwaterloo.ca/indigenous>.
