Dear all,

The DPI 2023 Steering Committee is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 9th Annual Digital Pedagogy Institute (DPI)<https://uwaterloo.ca/digital-pedagogy-institute/about>. The DPI will take place August 16th and 17th, 2023. This year’s events will take place virtually, via Zoom.

Our themes are five-fold, and include Critical Ideologies and Digital Pedagogy, Digital Decolonialism, Inclusivity, Accessibility and Digital Pedagogy, Sustainability, Renewability, and Environmental Costs in the digital sphere, and Digital Pedagogy and the Post-Truth Society. Our keynote speakers<https://uwaterloo.ca/digital-pedagogy-institute/> are Dr. Brenna Clarke Gray<https://brennaclarkegray.ca/>, speaking on Artificial Intelligence, Ethics of Care, and the Future(s) of EdTech, and Heather Campbell, Kim Carson, Bobby Glushko, Dan Sich, and Christie Sich from Western Libraries, speaking on Embracing vulnerability: Interrogating colonialism as a team. We have a wide range of sessions scheduled.
