UWAG has been honoured to host unearth, an exhibition by the creative duo Camal & Camille. Their exhibition features several large scale photo-based artworks including the mural-sized lenticular image House of Bâby (2021) and the black & white series Rocks (2021-2023). Their work celebrates the African diaspora while in the process of excavating the hidden history of enslaved people of colour in Canada.
