Stock the Bank Challenge update #1

[Arts Communications]

Week 1 is completed for the WUSA Stock the Bank Challenge.  Our ASAC Arts team is in 2nd place so we are off to a fabulous start!  Thank you to all who have participated so far!
Top of the table (Week 1):
- SSO with 669 points — a commanding start. Word has it SSO has developed a proprietary method for spotting great grocery deals and sourcing those high-value 5-point items.
- ASAC (Arts) comes in with 255 points, a new contender this year, coming in strong and poised to leave a mark in Stock the Back Challenge in 2025!
- International Experience Centre with 198 points coming out the gate strong and building momentum early.

We have several Arts departments participating with hosting bins in their areas!  You can drop off non-perishable food items at any of these arts locations:


  *   PAS 2439 (Arts Undergraduate Office)
  *   ECH 1208 (Fine Arts)
  *   HH 161 (Humanities Theatre Box Office)
  *   PAS 2047 (Sociology and Legal Studies)
  *   HH 231 (Economics)
  *   LS 224 (Classical Studies)
  *   HH 108/110 (History)
  *   PAS 3005 (Psychology)
  *   HH 229 (English)
  *   GBDA Stratford campus
  *   HH 315 (Political Science)

You can bring in and donate non-perishable food items to the bins closest to you or you can make a monetary donation on WUSA's website<https://wusa.ca/product/food-support-service-donation/>. Once the donation has been made, please forward a copy of the donation receipt along with their team's name (Arts ASAC) to foodsupport at wusa.ca<mailto:foodsupport at wusa.ca> so that your donation can be counted towards our team’s totals for the competition.

Remember different food items get us different point values!

            5 points = Canned fruit and vegetables, breakfast foods, hygiene items
            4 points = Rice, soup, chillies, canned meat and fish, legumes and beans, pasta and pasta sauces
            3 points = Peanut and other nut butters, boxed meals
            2 points = Protein and granola bars, crackers, snacks
            1 point = Monetary donations and everything else

Thanks for supporting this campaign so we can help Food Support Services stock their shelves so no Warriors will go hungry in our community!
