I would like to share an upcoming cultural and educational event presented by the SIAC (Studies in Islamic and Arab Cultures) Program in partnership with Echo of Civilizations.
He Who Saw All Things: A Celebration of Mesopotamian Civilization invites audiences on a journey through the cradle of civilization, exploring its languages, poetry, music, and stories through scholarship and live performance. The program features an academic presentation on the connections between Arabic and Akkadian, performances of ancient Mesopotamian music, poetry by Enheduanna, the world's first known poet, and a theatrical production that brings Mesopotamian history and culture to life.
